FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida-June 17, 2016 – Living Color Aquariums announced today that they have secured the contract for a revolutionary clear pool project that will grace the banks of Biscayne Bay in North Miami. This epic pool, designed by M3o Architecture, is the first of it’s kind and features massive acrylic panels that line the walls of both the house side, and the shores of Biscayne Bay. The clear acrylic panels were designed to provide guests with unhindered views of the bay and anyone fortunate enough to swim in the pool an experience of a lifetime.
When the architects at M3o first proposed this groundbreaking project, they realized they needed a manufacturer that was very familiar with forming large slabs of acrylic into elegantly curved walls. They turned to the seasoned veterans of acrylic, Living Color Aquariums. This south Florida based company is no stranger to massive sized acrylic projects, they have been handcrafting aquariums for the better part of 28 years and are the trusted source for public aquariums, luxury home owners and businesses looking for industrial grade aquariums.
The project comes with it’s own set of unique challenges – immense scale, harsh environmental conditions and extreme pressure to name a few. The Living Color Team was more than excited to take these challenges head-on “we truly enjoy challenging projects like this, they push the cutting edge and revolutionize our industry, it is an absolute honor to be apart of such an incredible build.” Robin Arce, COO Living Color Aquariums.
The ultra modern residence and acrylic pool is currently in development and scheduled for completion in late 2016.
